Exciting news!
I have been horrible about blogging lately. I was really going to try to improve my effort. Unfortunately I have decided not to. I am simply to busy with my many full time jobs, Mommy, career, maid, and box packer. Yep box packer. We have exciting news....
After months of searching I finally found our new home. We will be going from 1280 square feet to 2650. With an attached garage and a small yard. As much as I am dreading this next month or two it will be so worth it. Our family really needs this. So I'll still try to better about blogging, but won't make any promises. In the meantime here's what is going on at our (current) house..

We're just hanging.
I have been a bad blogger. Life is busy. We are constantly on the move. Speaking of, no we haven't got a new house. This market is ridiculously frustrating. We have got to get out of this house. It is simply too small without a fenced outdoor area. I have looked and looked. I finally found one last week. Unfortunately so did someone else who happened to have CASH. Are you kidding me? How can I even compete with that?
Our lives haven't been all work. We have been having lots of fun too! Here are some various pics taken during my blog sabbatical.

I have many more updates to do, but I'm tired.

TwO!!!
I have been putting off writing this. Maybe in hopes it wouldn't happen and maybe Ell would choose to stay a baby instead. My attempts at keeping her one have been unsuccessful and thus I must accept the inevitable. I had her professional 2 year pictures taken last week, but there is quite a long turn around time on them so as soon as I get them I will make another post. Here is the photographer posted as a sneak peak.
We had Ella's two year well visit and she is douing ophenominal! She does not need age correction for anything and she is considered advanced in both language and social-emotional skills. She weighs 22 pounds 15 ounces (7%), is 31 3/4 inches tall (6%), and her head was 43 cm (34%).
Ell is wearing a size 3 diaper, and 18 months (typically) in clothes. She does actually still wear 12 months in some brands. Her body is tiny but is gaining length so it may be interesting come fall when we need length. Shoes are about a size 3 (depends also on brand) which would be a 6-9 month. Her feet are growing though so I'm happy. Also that size 3 diaper she wears is getting fewer and farther between. She now has the choice of a pull-up and undies (if we are at home). Both are huge on her tiny butt. She has done pretty well in them when she chooses to wear them. She frequently poops on the potty without being prompted by me. She basically has done this all on her own so I'm good with whatever! My favorite thing about her potty training is that when she poops in the potty I give her a penny. She then puts the penny on a gumball machine that has skittles in it. She gets between 3-4 each time and she ALWAYS makes she she gives one to Mommy. It is so very sweet. Even if I decline she really wants me to have one. She has a really sweet personality.
Ella is very sweet but also a girl full of sass. This is of course nothing new, but now that she has such great language skills it is getting interesting! If she is doing something I disaprove of and I tell her not to she throws her hand up and tells me, "Go away! Go away for a minute and stop it!" Sometimes I can't help but snicker.
Favorites:
Animals - Horses "Neighs" and Cats.
Vegetable- Green Beans, but also likes broccoli
Fruit- Peaches and apples sometimes bananas
Snacks- yogurt, applesauce, pretzels
Treats- cupcakes and ice cream, "candy"
Show- Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba, Curious George
Movie- Monsters Inc. Finding Nemo, Little mermaid, Rio, and Toy Story 3
Places to go- Zoo, Children's museum, farm
Outside- She ALWAYS wants to play outside.
Can identify: circle, stars and hearts 100% of the time. Triangle and square are coming along.
Colors are very unpredictable. She will say an actual color if you ask her, but it's pretty much never correct.
Says E-L-A spells Ella
When she sees words on anything she is excited and refers to them as "ABC's"
She can identify some letters, but in working mother fashion I'm not sure which ones as she does this mainly at school.
She has become a very cute singer and can sing a great majority of certain songs like, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle, Happy Birthday, Rock a bye Baby, The ABC's and several others I'm missing.
Now that her birthday is over I'm not sure how she is going to react. She really loves it to be "my birthday". These are some pictures from her party. She really wanted a bike and I should have video taped her opening it. She was so excited!

Birthdays Eve
On the eve of Ella's birthday I can't help but wonder. I have allot of questions I'll simply never have the answers to. Did her birthparents know that they wouldn't be her forever parents? Did they know how much she would be loved or how incredible she would become? I will never know what they knew, but I always can hope they know those answers now.

New adventures?
Ella is an outdoor girl. We live in a condo. This is posing a problem for me. I want a fenced yard for my princess. Unfortunately I owe slightly more than my condo is worth. This is the short story. We are now in full swings of house hunting. The condo will be kept and rented. I am freaking out. I'll either end up okay, bankrupt, or possibly dead (stress can kill you, right?). Wish us all the luck in the world. We need it. Then again look what happened last time I took a huge financial and emotional risk. I ended up the luckiest woman in the world. Can it happen again?
As a random side note, here is Ella in her "nastics" outfit!

Nothing much!
I know long time, no post. Nothing much going on, only life. Ella is growing like a weed and making developmental jumps like crazy! She will be joining the 2 year old class starting next month. She is still crazy over "neighs" and being outside. We can't wait for spring to be in full force! We are trying a second round of ear piercings. She wanted them. Wish us luck!
