I'm finally here!

So I made it to Florida after a very L-O-N-G day of not fun travel! But oh there was a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow! My baby is HUGE. She has at least 2 or 3 chins and kissable cheeks. She is so smiley I just couldn't love her more. My Mom also got her wish granted. Ella has a darling dimple on her right cheek. My niece and nephew each have one and it was requested Ella have one too. I do what I can to please! I'll have to get smiling pics tomorrow. These are the only ones I took today...

Oh and she is 3 pounds 13 ounces meaning it is very likely the last night she will be in an isolette!

Last day at work for Mom

YAY! I am working my last shift at work tonight. I will be home tomorrow cleaning and packing and then Thursday morning off to Florida! I am still bummed I couldn't get the Wed. red eye, so Thurday it is. I leave around 9 and get to FL around 7. My Mom is going with me and we do have return tickets for July 29th that we hope to be able to use. If she hasn't been discharged I will be changing mine. She is getting close to moving out of her isolette she now weighs 1670 grams or 3.10 pounds. She just took a bubble bath and put on her pink booties (thanks Yvette!) and is waiting patiently for Mom!

Still good

Still good. Still 3.8 but a heavier 3.8 this is the first time in awhile that she has been the same weight for 3 days, but bottle feeding burns alot of calories when your that tiny. She got another bottle today and drank 10cc, and the night nurse will try one further into her shift because the kid was still zonked from her 5:00pm one. They increased her feedings to 40cc.

My big girl

Just called the NICU they haven't given another bottle yet. I had to make a post to inform everyone that i have unknowingly been lying about her length. She is 16 inches long! That is a big girl! She has also been pulled off of her medication called procrit which was to raise blood counts to prevent transfusion!

Bottle baby!!!

Yes, you read the title correctly. My lil runt drank 15 cc's from a bottle tonight! Her full feeding is 36 cc's so she has a little ways to go, but she did it! I don't want to jinx us but I have a feeling we will be in UT in July!!!

Chunky Monkey

Being as that Ella clearly understands she is my daughter and has no problem packing on weight quick! Tonight 3 pounds 8 ounces! That may sound small, but to me she must be huge! She has WAY more than doubled her weight at this point and although she has gained length it hasn't been much. They also changed her feedings now from 2 hours to 1 hour meaning she should start bottle feeding very soon. The finish line is in site at this point! Can't wait to have my baby home.

I'm sorry to brag, but my kid is just plain awsome. 1540 grams 3 pounds 6.3 ounces. She is definetly MY daughter. Who elses kid could gain weight like that?
